Hiding WordPress version number in your code to prevent hacking

We saw this great article recently discussing the prevention of hacking on your WordPress website by hiding the WordPress version number. The article is here:

The outcome of the article of course was that this isn’t going to really help prevent WordPress hacking, as hacking is just not that simple.
