Good news for those who advertise online: Australians actually click on your ads. According to the latest internet usage data from Roy Morgan Research, approximately 1.6 million Australians aged 14 and above say they’ve clicked on an online ad during the past month. The said number is 8.1% of total users and is almost twice as large as the figures from 2011. It was also reported that a significant bulk of these clickthroughs came from mobile users. This bit of news may be surprising to some, but it’s of course music to the ears of advertisers since their investments are paying off.
