Craig McDonald, the big boss of software security company MailGuard, believes that this particular social media platform is an extremely potent weapon, and he utilizes this ingeniously in order to grow his network, develop strategic business partnerships, and expand into 27 countries.
McDonald stated that his company’s marketing efforts were solely on LinkedIn since he believed that his core market could be found within his trusted network of professionals. And he was able to build this trust by engaging with people, publishing quality content, and empowering his staff to be brand ambassadors. Now, that of course took a lot of work, but the payoff sure seems very much worth it.
