By 2016, India is projected to displace the United States as the world’s second largest population of Internet users. The country will have more than 283.8 million users by then, which should be music to the ears of online retailers. But despite this data, e-commerce still isn’t expected to significantly contribute to retail sales—not in the way that traditional shops and stores do.
